Greg Scarpa Jr has now confirmed what everyone has long suspected. The FBI utilized illegal wiretaps and then falsely claimed that it was information learned from their Top Echelon informant Greg Scarpa Sr. to justify the probable cause necessary for issuance of lawful wiretaps. The FBI knowingly lied to and manipulated Federal Judges to issue wiretaps. How many Times, we don’t know. We intend to get to the bottom of it!

When the FBI Fakes the Law, No American Is Safe
By Anthony E. Colombo, Jr.
On Behalf of the Italian American Civil Rights League
For over half a century, the Italian American Civil Rights League has fought to
expose injustice, demand dignity, and challenge the abuse of power. Today, that
fight continues–not against whispers from the past, but against the very institutions
sworn to uphold the Constitution.
Recently, deeply disturbing revelations have surfaced through statements made by
Gregory Scarpa Jr., son of the infamous FBI informant Gregory Scarpa Sr.,
shedding light on an alleged conspiracy that goes far beyond organized crime–it
goes straight to the federal government itself.
According to Scarpa Jr., the FBI engaged in a deliberate and calculated deception.
Agents allegedly conducted illegal wiretaps to gather intelligence, then fabricated a
cover story–claiming the information had come from his father, a”top echelon”
informant. Armed with that lie, they presented false affidavits to judges, secured
legal wiretap authorizations, and built federal indictments on a foundation of fraud.
Let me be clear: if these allegations are true, they represent a brazen criminal
enterprise operating from within the government. Life sentences were handed out
because of this corruption.
This isn’t about defending the mob. It’s about defending the rule of law.
The FBI cannot be allowed to invent informants, forge legal pathways, and then
wrap themselves in the American flag. The FBI cannot fabricate sources and
falsify evidence presented to a court. That is not justice. That is institutional rot at the core of our justice system. If an agency can violate your rights and then lie
about it in court–who is safe? Who is next?
We, as Italian Americans, have seen this movie before.
My grandfather, Joseph A. Colombo, Sr., founded the IACRL not to deny crime
existed in our community, but to confront the systemic targeting and
dehumanization of an entire ethnic group. In the 1960s and 70s, Italian Americans
were vilified in every newspaper, arrested without probable cause, surveilled by the
FBI for speaking out, and portrayed as criminals on television before they ever saw
a courtroom.
And now, in the 21st century, we are learning that the very same agencies once
accused of using surveillance to silence civil rights leaders–Italian, Black, or
otherwise–may have bent the law again in their obsession with winning at any
cost.
If the government used Scarpa Sr. as a fictional source to backdoor illegal
intelligence into federal court, then every case that flowed from that corruption
must be reexamined, every judge who was misled must be informed, and every
American–regardless of their ethnicity–must demand answers.
We cannot allow the FBI to play God in a courtroom.
Justice does not mean “whatever works”; Justice means truth. It means process. It
means respect for the Constitution, even when its inconvenient.
The IACRL calls on Congress, the Department of Justice, and civil liberties
organizations across this country to investigate these claims. This cannot be buried
beneath the usual apathy toward Italian American grievances. We are not
stereotypes. We are citizens. And the FBI is not above the law.
We don’t want apologies. We want accountability.

Excerpt from Podcast –
Gregory Scarpa Jr.: You know there’s no way that he knew this and knew that,
and what happened here was the deal that was made with DeVecchio, and my
father, was that they, they had illegal wiretaps out there, okay. Now, they would
learn unbelievable information on the illegal wiretaps.
Interviewer: Wow.
Gregory Scarpa Jr.: Okay, now listen to this. Now, because they made my father
a top echelon informant, okay, once they got enough information that they say,
wow, we got a lot here from the illegal bug, okay. Not from my father, but the
illegal bug, okay. Alright, so, what they would do then is go to the judge, I think I
forgot the title 18. I forgot the number of when they go to the judge and say, listen,
we have a top echelon informant, and this deal was made with my father and them.
So, my father got paid and sure, go ahead, do that, and go to the judge and tell the
judge that we have the top echelon informant that gave us this information, this,
this and this, but he didn’t. They got it on the illegal bug.
Interviewer: Wow.
Gregory Scarpa Jr.: Do you understand? Yeah. So, now, the judge, the judge
goes and says, okay, you, do you want to continue to, not continue. Do you want a
wiretap? Yes, that’s why we’re here, you know what I’m saying, and the judge
automatically goes, you know, because they got all this information, okay, from
this top echelon informant. The judge said, yeah, go ahead, and now they got the
legal bug to go on top of that and there’s the indictments, you know what I’m
saying.
Interviewer: Wow, man. It just shows like, I mean the rabbit hole, when it comes
to the government, goes deep, you know.
